I've been thinking about this for a while now. Seeing as how Top Gear won't be doing the Cool Wall anymore, I thought it would be a good idea to make one for Oppo! The Oppositelock Cool Wall!
So here's how it's going to crumble: Every Monday and Thursday, I'll post five different cars, and you guys will vote on where they will go on the Cool Wall. I will pick the most popular suggestions.
You have to give me a good reason as to why you chose what you chose. Don't just say something like "Uncool because it's not a brown manual diesel wagon bro," I will just gloss over those ones.
I want everyone to have fun with this! It's a great conversation-starter among us!

Hellcat: cool.
High HP, good looks, huge engine, heavy, cheap for a monster of an engine, and finally , an American supercharged car.
Also, it acts its size. It's an American muscle car; heavy, long-nosed, way-back cabin, overkill engine, loud, proud, HP machine.

Porsche: Uncool. It's undoubtedly fast, but I have it confused with the other 837 911s out there. I wish they would just make a sports car that I could differentiate from the rest (other than the 918, which is sub-zero).
Hellcat: Approaching sub-zero. It is the ultimate epitome of a muscle car in an age when they make so little sense, which further epitomizes it as a muscle car.
Huracan: Almost cool, but still a bit uncool. On the one hand, I don't like Lamborghini as a volume brand, and the taming out of their supercars is tragic. On the other, if they are going to be a volume brand, at least this, rather than some overpriced SUV, is their volume seller. So far.
GT-R: Uncool, because it's just another GT-R. See Porsche above.
Zo6: Cool, because it's an American supercar, the best looking Corvette since the C2, and the best performing one ever.

At first i thought the Cayman would be hard to place.. but i'm going to have to go with sub-zero. Cayman GT4 money would get the average joe or 'mid-life crisis buyer' into a nice 911... it takes a lot of enthusiast commitment to spend that much money on a lower end car. That being said, i'm sure it's fantastic to drive, and still way out of my price range. Big ups to those who buy them

GT4: Sub-zero. What's not to love about a hardcore, track oriented, mid-engined car with a manual transmission, that if you were so inclined could probably be a sunny-day DD?
Hellcat: Uncool. Yeah, I guess it's "crazy" and that in itself is worthy of some respect (and I'm not saying I don't like the car), but honestly, it's just a really loud monster that isn't going to impress anybody other than a certain sector of car enthusiasts that'll probably get bored with it after a few burnouts.
Huracan: Cool. Not subzero because it's a V10 and not a V12, but the AWD system has been massively improved and regardless of what some people say, I think it looks fucking fantastic. Better than the Aventador.
GT-R Nismo: Uncool. It's probably fast as hell, but it seems like this GT-R has been around for too long to be cool anymore. The Nismo version packs a punch over the standard GT-R I'm sure, but at the end of the day, It's not anything totally spectacular or wow-worthy (to me at least) and I think Nissan needs to finally update the damn thing.
Corvette Z06: On the line between Cool and Subzero. This thing looks the business and has the performance to back it up. I really, really like it.

Seriously Uncool. On the same level as a Lancer EVO, if you have to explain what a car is to a non-enthusiast it is uncool. Plus at least where I live in Franklin/Brentwood/Cool Springs/Nashville they are far too common. I see at least 3 every day (Nissan HQ is down the road from my place)

GT4 is right between cool and uncool because Porsche is too scared to go all out with it and deliberately made it slower which is uncool no matter how much I love the idea of it.
Hellcat is cool because "hey, heres a 700 HP car with a warranty"
Huracan is uncool because its too civilized for a Lamborghini
GTR is cool because here's possibly the best $ per second car around the Ring
ZO6 is cool until it starts falling apart or grenading itself after minimal use and then is goes to uncool

Pretty much in the order listed:
GT4 on the cool/sub-zero line
Hellcat on the same line
Huracan on the mid cool section
Nismo GT-R on the uncool side of the cool/un-cool line, it is trying too damn hard
C7 Z06 in seriously uncool, it is ugly AND the epitome of midlife crisis mobile.

Before you read and flame me to a crisp, bare in mind the Cool Wall rules depend on style and class and also a key variable is bringing it to a date with a woman/man with a sense of both of those things and is not just some bimbo that will be impressed by a shiny thing...
If we are falling under the TG law then as follows:
Porsche: Uncool: It is ricer-y for the riches, if you turn up to a date on that car you are going to look a tremendous douche to the woman you are picking up (going under the rule that said woman has style and class)
Dodge: Uncool/Seriously Uncool: Depends really, if it has new interiors now, but if they are the same as the 2012 model, then they are pretty bad, also with a car that big and that loud (both in sound and aesthetic) you seem as though you have either a size or a power issue in another area.
Lambo: Cool/SubZero: I think it looks really good, modern and if you get it on a right color it has style for days, a true small Lambo, so I would put it in cool, but if we are guided by TG in the past it probably belongs in SubZero (as with the Gallardo when it came out)
Nismo: Seriously Uncool: This just looks ricey, nevermind the fact that I would give my left nut for one, it's still a geeky car and with the wings and red accents it only looks less serious, the Nismo version has very little to no class.
Corvette: No, just no, not even Seriously Uncool, this thing looks like a toy, and a badly made one at that, it looks cheap on the outside and it seems as though it wants to be a transformer, it only looks decent in dark colors, but even then, just no, this looks awful...

Id put the Porsche at cool, because manual transmission only. Need I say more? Not sub zero because, well, it's not the most original body style. Nice Beetle bro ;)
Hellcat-I'm debating with myself on this one..but I'd say cool. What could be more cool then a 700 hp car that will kill you because it can't take turns? Oh, and it has a warranty.
Huracan- Seriously uncool. Not only is it just going to be used for showing off, it's the most boring Lambo ever, there's nothing special about it.
GTR Nismo-Uncool..because I..don't have a argument just yet, come back to me on it ;)
C7 Z06 - Cool, great for the money, but not expensive enough to be to show offy. Not Sub Zero because insert mid life crisis joke here.
